The house is situated on a hill between Almachar and Iznate. The land around grows the Moscatel grapes. The drive from both villages is via concrete and gravel tracks. The Casa is finished to a very high standard inside, but outside remains rustic, in keeping with Andalusia theme including pool.

The nearby village which historically belonged to Cornwall, is steeped in myth and legend and home to excellent restaurants, boulangerie, charcuterie and several bars.
