Description
Escaping the daily stress had been a long lasting temptation for us. It became a necessity with the arrival of our son, and in 2017 we found what was called at the time Casa dos Carris.
We knew the area, as well as its potential as starting point for a lot of attractions within short driving distance. However, what really atracted us was the house's unbelievable pottential to recreate a childhood universe that we thought long lost and reconnect again with nature.
From this potential and our desire to recreate our childhood memories and share them with our son, Rosemary Cottage comes to life and within its limits several playing areas.
At the house, the little ones have the possibility to learn and have fun, with complete safety. The property is totally walled and the pool area is duly secured. The pool is wide (8*4m) and we also make available a small inflatable pool for babies. On the grounds
(around 1.600 m grass garden) we have a playground, a sand box and a small herbs garden as well as a house for pets which are welcome at no additional cost. A barbeque and coal are also available.
The house has 2 double bed bedrooms with additional sleeping couch for 2 more people in the living room if necessary. We provide bedlinen, bath and pool towels. The kitchenette is fully equipped so you can prepare your own meals however a fine restaurant as well as a mini-market are located within 300m.
The living room has air conditioning.
Within driving distance you can reach the famous North Beach near Nazaré. Surf and watersports can be practiced there. The region is full of history: Fatima sanctuary, Batalha and Alcobaça monastery, Obidos medieval town. Several outdoor activity parks nearby for children: Parque dos Monges and Lourinhã Dino Park, as well as caves, walking and biking trails.
Due to its location the house is really quiet. Even if cable TV, internet and sound system are available we also provide a “cell phones thrash bin”. Take advantage of your holidays and forget your worries for some days.
