Beer & Mussel Festival, Padstow, England
16th - 18th March
According to Rick Stein, March is the best month in the year for mussels, so why not pay a visit to Cornwall in March, for the Beer and Mussel festival at the Cornish Arms in St Merryn. In the large marquee next to the pub, you’ll be able to sample over 30 beers from St Austell Brewery and Sharp’s Brewery including an exclusive festival beer. To accompany these, you can indulge yourself with some delicious mussel dishes, such as moules mariniere. All of this whilst being entertained by some great bands.
There will be lots to do over the weekend including a cookery demonstration by Jack Stein, talks from St Austell Brewery and a charity pub quiz. Live entertainment will be from Taz Djay Disco, Boscastle Buoys and The C90’s. And for all you rugby fans out there, there will be a screening of the England rugby game too.
