Night of the Witches and Elves (Ferragusta), Montalto delle Marche, Italy

The local town of Montalto celebrates midsummer with the festival of Witches and Elves. All the houses in the town will have some image in their doors or windows, and many residents dress up in spooky gear (like our halloween). There are food and drink stalls, a concert in the municipal square and a parade around 11pm. Fabulous local colour and taste!
