On the edge of the Pennines with spectacular views and next to the Kirklees Way circular walk, Belle Vue Barn is a great base for those who love the outdoors with many varied walks, mountain bike/cycle routes and Bridleways and near to the locally famous Bolster Moor Farm Shop and cafe.
The Barns is equipped to meet all your requirements:-
The bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor, with a double bed, wardrobe and bedside tables and chair, the smaller bedroom has a single bed with pull out to make two singles or one double with wardrobe and bedside table which is ideal for a family. The bathroom has a full suite with bath and overhead shower, all downstairs rooms have underfloor heating making the barn a cosy place to stay.
Upstairs is open plan with a fully fitted kitchen complete with everything you need for your time away. This includes a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge.
You will find tea, coffee and sugar included along with a ‘Welcome pack’ providing you with milk, fresh bread, butter, jam and marmalade.
All cleaning products included and tea towels.
Lounge/dining area with feature exposed beams and large skylights, Smart TV, comfy sofa and armchairs providing Free Wi-Fi.
There are a selection of books to read and games and jigsaws
There is a small lawned garden area and patio and decking area to take in the views of the area and includes garden furniture. There is also secure storage and cleaning facilities for bikes.

Location description
The barn is less than an hour from Leeds, Manchester and Sheffield and close to all major transport routes it's easy to reach by Road, rail and air.
By Car - the barn is 10 minute drive from the M62 to Leeds or Manchester and has easy connections to the M1, M6 and A1.
By Rail - the local station is in Slaithwaite 5 minutes by car from the barn with regular routes from York, Leeds, Manchester and the airport and Liverpool, with links to London.
Other activities
There are two 18 hole golf courses in the locality, one in the nearby village, within walking distance of the barn
The nearby Leisure Centre in Slaithwaite has a swimming pool, badminton courts, and gym and runs many relaxation and fitness classes such as yoga and Pilates.
Walking and cycling and horse riding is extremely popular throughout the area with hilly terrain, moors and canal footpaths all within easy reach. There are many well-known routes ranging from easy to difficult and numerous marked footpaths and bridleways.
Nearby by there is a ten pin bowling alley , laser zone and cinema.
Local events
Locally the area hosts a number of music festivals including Marsden Jazz Festival and Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. Meltham Memories 1940's weekend, Huddersfield Caribbean Carnival and Food & Drink Festival, Marsden Cuckoo festival, Honley and Emley Agricultural Show, Folk Festivals, Colne Valley mountain Bike Challenge, South Pennines Walk and Horse Riding Festival. Enjoy live music and a drink of local real ale on a music themed train which are run monthly.
Tourist attractions
Colne Valley Museum is a local weaver’s cottage which hosts a variety of events including weaving, clog making and home baking.
The “Last of the Summer Wine” country in Holmfirth is just 5 miles away.
