Feria y Fiestas de los Santos, Albox, Spain
21st October – 3rd November: All Saints Day Festival
The origin of this festival goes back many years as being one of the most important agricultural events held throughout Spain. It was celebrated both before and after the 1st of November (All Saints Day) Feria Albox.
With the passing of time and transformation and modernisation of Spain's rural regions, the All Saints Day festival began to lose it's agricultural theme in favour of a more popular fiesta. It is still one of the most important fiestas held in the Almeria province with thousands of people coming to Albox to celebrate it. One of it's most famous events is the Feria de Mediodia, when a huge paella is cooked and served to all the revellers.
