Night of the Balloons, Gosau, Austria

Every January, Gosau hosts a colourful hot-air balloon festival on its snowy pastures at 670m. Enthusiasts fly up above the stunning craggy Gosaukamm range beside the Dachstein mountain and its glacier. On the last night crowds gather to enjoy the sight of the balloons floating at ski slope level, to dance, listen to music, eat and drink gluewein, and have a jolly good time!
