Broadstairs Folk Week attracts many tens of thousands of guests each year. The town comes alive with George (the dragon) and shanty singers, Morris Dancers, singalongs, playalongs, concerts, workshops etc . Every pub has live groups on most of the day and the concert tent hosts the best singers in the land and many other lands, too. Take a look at the Folk Week website for more. There is also a week-long Broadstairs Dicken's festival to celebrate the author's long connection to the town.
