Description
Villa Aurora is idyllically situated within a pretty natural garden on the hillside overlooking a beautiful valley, hills and sea at Polis. The magnificent views are even better from the terrace upstairs, which is a wonderful spot to watch shooting stars from.
This house has been built using traditional stone throughout which keeps it cool in summer and warm in winter, and wooden beams and shutters. It is spacious and furnished to a high standard. 2 of the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs, and there is a handrail to poolside, so may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The lovely terrace gets welcome shade and a light breeze during the heat of the day. Here you can enjoy meals, lounge around and relax, whilst observing the stunning colour changes of your beautiful unobstructed 180' view in front. Reached via a no through lane leading from the village, the peaceful location of this tastefully furnished house is completely private and not overlooked, but not isolated. Rare birds frequent this area so take your binoculars! The poolside offers privacy and is not overlooked.
Rodia Taverna on right as you enter village square offers a small menu including a pre bookable meze for approx. 12 Euro pp. Kebabs served Tuesday and Sundays too. Antonia tel. 26 732568. At the top of the lane there is a small halloumi cheese and yoghurt outlet open to the public. Halloumi cheese is eaten warm, best grilled or griddled. Only made in Cyprus.

Ground floor: Spacious open-plan extremely well equipped kitchen/diner and 11m x 5m lounge. Fireplace. Two twin bedrooms (wide beds) and 2 x adjoining shower/w.c. One shower has flat floor and shower curtain, possibly adequate for a wheelchair. Doors downstairs are 81cm wide. French doors to poolside terrace and ramp from front door to garden. Marble staircase.
First floor: Double bedroom with adjoining bath, shower and w.c. Large 11m x 5m terrace.
Outside: Ramp with handrail access to house. Wooden slatted pathway with handrail to poolside. Pool has 2 deep Roman steps and hand rail. Lighting in pool. Garden features wild flowers which attract butterflies etc. Terraces with lighting for evenings. Built in BBQ. Kleftiko oven. Shower. Herb garden at rear. Playhouse pre bookable on request. Shaded terrace with seating and table.
