Description
Sutherlea is a large villa, ideal for big family holidays, or gatherings of groups of friends. A great place to get together to celebrate a special event. There are six bedrooms, so it will accommodate 12 quite easily, and more if sofa beds are used.
There are some kitchen facilities indoors, but the main kitchen is outdoors, on the patio. Dining is informal at Sutherlea. Guests make the most of the warm climate, enjoying al fresco dining together on the large patio, right beside the pool. It has been the scene of many legendary BBQ parties!
The pool is very generous in size - bigger than many hotel pools. It is fully tiled, and kept meticulously clean with an efficient filtration/chlorination system. There is a shallow section for less confident swimmers, sloping down to a deep section with diving board for the more adventurous. Very popular with kids of all ages.
The villa and pool are set in a large plot, some grassed, and some dedicated to an amazing tropical garden, with exotic palms and colourful shrubs. A fantastic setting for your holiday photos!

Location description
The villa is located on the outskirts of Koskinou village, about 6 kms south of Rhodes Town. It is in a fairly quiet area, but not isolated. There are other villas in the neighbourhood, but because Sutherlea has large grounds, it is reasonably private. The east coast is only a short drive away, and there are some lovely beaches within easy reach. Rhodes Town, a very lively and bustling town and port, is about 15 minutes drive away. Rhodes Old Town dates back to ancient times, and has a rich history and fascinating architecture, as well as a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Local events
During the summer, there are musical and theatre events on offer in Rhodes Town. Many of these are offered free of charge, and are very good entertainment.

Directions
Rhodes airport is about 20 mins drive away, close to the west coast. It has direct flights from most major European airports during summer, and several daily flights from Athens. There are also ferry connections from nearby islands and mainland Greece. There are many car hire companies, also plenty of taxis available. The road across the island from the airport to the village is mostly dual carriageway.

It is a lovely big pool, fully tiled and well cared for. The patio area, where guests can cook, eat, or just relax, is right beside the pool, so easy to keep an eye on. |

Gorgeous Villa, loved the outdoor living
We are a family of ten who stayed in august 2021.The Villa was perfect for us as we love swimming and outdoor living, and the pool and outside kitchen were fab for this, we spent very little time indoors. We had a car and ate out in Faliraki, koskinou Centre, Ixia and Kallithea. The communication and support from Lorna and Tsam was excellent. Thank you
