Description
'Eucalyptus cottage' has been renovated from the 300 year old section of a former farm to create a perfect holiday cottage for two.
The cottage is one of 5 gites at 'le Jardin des Amis' which share the gardens and pool on this 7 acre site.
A short flight of steps lead up to the front door. The open-plan ground floor has a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining table and chairs, two comfortable armchairs and a bed-settee (which can be used for a 3rd guest if wished).
The walls are the traditional 'pierre apparent' and there are exposed oak beams in the ceiling.
Stairs lead up to the light and airy double bedroom set under the sloping eaves. A window looks out onto the lawn at the front of the property and the valley beyond. There is a vanity unit with wash-hand basin in the bedroom and a shower room with toilet, ensuite.
The cottage has a patio area set under a wisteria covered arbour for shade from the midday sun. The cottages all have their own outdoor table/chairs and barbecue.
