    Description

    Porth Nanven Cottage is a single storey beautifully presented two bedroom cottage, nestled in the hillside down a long track in the magical Cot Valley, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Cot Valley is located in the far west of Cornwall between Cape Cornwall and Lands End, the valley stretches down to the sea, nearby is St Just with a selection of useful shops and good pubs. The perfect choice for a romantic getaway, family holiday, walkers, surfers and dog owners.

    The cottage is snuggled tightly into the hillside and is approached down a track. There is a large open plan, triple aspect living and dining area, with painted wooden floors and white tongue and groove ceiling. There are large windows looking out over the valley and French doors leading out to one part of the garden, the result is a bright and airy space with views over the garden. At one end of the room are comfortable sofas and a TV, in the dining area there is a good sized table and benches. An ideal room for relaxing after a strenuous coastal walk or surfing at nearby Sennen Beach! There is a well equipped kitchen with painted shaker style units, wooden work surfaces, painted floor boards, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge. There are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds adorned with crisp white bed linen. There is a separate newly refurbished family bathroom with bath and shower over basin, towel rail and WC.

    There is space to park one car at the front of the property and the ability to park a second car by arrangement if required. To the front of the property is a gravelled area with built in BBQ, there is also a garden area to the side of the property with patio directly outside the living room and the remainder laid to lawn and flowerbeds. There are footpaths directly outside the cottage leading onto the coastal path and down to the sea, there is one other property next door (Porth Nanven House) but the cottage remains private with a secluded garden; perfect for couples or families alike.

    The nearest station and bus station is in Penzance, there are regular bus services from Penzance to St Just which is a 20 - 30 minute walk from the cottage. A car is recommended to fully enjoy this property and the amazing surrounding area.

    Great location for walkers
    Lovely cottage in peaceful location. Beds are very comfy. Great location for walkers with coastal path nearby. Nanven Cove is lovely at sunset and low tide. Perfect for photographers. Pizza from the square in St Just was good and the chip shop at St Just was also good. We had great weather and enjoyed sun filled days at Porthcurno and Sennen. Thanks

    Perfect in any weather
    The cottage is in a lovely location in its own little valley with a short walk down to a sandy bay at low tide. Great for the kids as there were plenty of rock pools to explore. This stretch of cost between Port Nanven and St Ives is very beautiful and peaceful with plenty of great walking opportunities. A great holiday and particularly liked the light and airy sitting room.perfect in any weather

    Beautiful and stunning location
    Thank you very much for providing such a perfect place! We enjoyed the beautiful cottage, completely equipped in the best of taste. We definitely felt at home right away as we were welcomed with clotted cream, scones and red wine.
    The superb location right at the coastal path makes it very easy to explore the coast to the north (Cape Cornwall/Pendeen) and to the south (Sennen Cove/Lands End). Thank you as well for the appropriate weather with just one day of rain and a lot of sun otherwise.
    We definitely plan come again for long walks in this beautiful and stunning landscape.
