Description
'Flint Cottage' is a charming single-storey holiday cottage in the historic Market-town of Saxmundham, close to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
A perfect base from which to explore the unspoilt Suffolk countryside and popular coastal towns. Within 30 mins drive of most places of interest, including Southwold, Woodbridge, Halesworth, Walberswick, and Benjamin Britten's concert hall at Snape Maltings.
Just 500 yards from the town - for shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants, railway station & buses. Only 8 miles (approx 15 mins drive) to the coast.
Internally, quaint period features combine with modern comforts and conveniences to provide for your perfect holiday. The cottage is light and airey, comfortable and full of character. The bedrooms are spacious with high ceilings. One bedroom has a 4'6' double bed and the other has a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a power-shower over the bath.
The sunny dining room overlooks the pretty courtyard garden at the back of the cottage - accessed via the kitchen. There is also a secure, enclosed garden at the front.
The woodburner in the cosy living room is perfect for chilly days and winter evenings.
'Flint Cottage' is fully equipped and centrally-heated. The rates are 'all-inclusive'. Suffolk is very dog-friendly, and family pets are made very welcome at 'Flint Cottage'.
