'Corner Cottage' is a delightful single-storey holiday cottage in the quiet, friendly Market-town of Saxmundham, close to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. A perfect base from which to explore the unspoilt Suffolk countryside and popular coastal towns.
Within 30 mins drive of most places of interest, including Southwold, Woodbridge, Halesworth, Walberswick, and Benjamin Britten's concert hall at Snape Maltings. Just 500 yards from the town - for shops, pubs, cafes & restaurants, railway station & buses. Only 8 miles (approx 15 mins drive) to the coast.
Internally, quaint period features combine with modern comforts and conveniences to provide for your perfect holiday. The cottage is light and airey, comfortable and full of character.
The open-plan living space is divided by a central feature fireplace, separating the sitting room from the kitchen/dining area - which is fully-equipped, and has seating for 4.
The bedrooms are cosy, with comfortable beds. One bedroom has a 4'6' double bed and the other can be arranged as either a kingsize double, or as a twin room - with 2 x single beds.
The fireplace in the cosy living room is perfect for real log-fires on chilly days and winter evenings.
'Corner Cottage' is fully equipped and centrally-heated. The rates are 'all-inclusive'. Suffolk is very dog-friendly, and family pets are made very welcome at 'Corner Cottage'.
