The cottage has a fully fitted and equipped kitchen/diner, lounge area with a two comfy sofas , smart LCD television (inc freeview and DVD player), electric wood burner effect fire and French doors leading to a patio area, with beautiful views over open countryside and a private enclosed patio garden with hot tub. There is a large en suite bathroom with shower over and 2 person whirlpool bath and WC. The luxurious superking bed has a plush topper and Egyptian cotton bedding for your comfort.

Location description
Set in the UNESCO Biosphere and within one of the few remaining Areas of Outsanding Natural Beauty, on a clear day we have breathtaking panoramic views of Clovelly, Lundy Island, Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Exmoor and the Torridge Estuary – this truly is a sight not to be missed, the perfect setting for a romantic picnic or just a lovely place to relax with a good book or painting easel. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of foxes, badgers, and roe deer.
Our cottages enjoy private access onto the coastal footpath which leads to the village and beach of Westward Ho! or alternatively a stunning 11mile walk to Clovelly.
We are also close to the Royal North Devon Golf Club which is the oldest links course in the country.

Tourist attractions
Westward Ho is situated on the beautiful Hartland Heritage Coast, to the edge of Bideford Bay. It is surrounded by some fine countryside strewn with small villages and the larger town of Bideford is but a short distance away. Closeby attractions include, the Big Sheep, South West Extreme, Exmoor Zoo,a museum at Appledore and the beautifu historic town of Clovelly. Being a coastal town you will find excellent fish and seafood served in almost all the local town and country inns and restaurants.
We are also close by to some wonderful National Trust properties including Arlington Court.
Directions
M5 to Junction 27, pick up the A361 to Barnstaple. On the outskirts of Barnstaple head for A39 Bideford/Bude road. Follow the road until you go over the Torridge Bridge, at the roundabout go straight on, after approximately 0.25 miles, turn right for Wesward Ho! Follow road for half a mile, at the top of the hill overlooking Westward Ho! turn left into Cornborough Road, continue down this road, as you reach the first blind left-hand corner, our driveway is on the right signposted Westward Living. Please park in the designated car park on arrival and make your way to the office to pick up your key. You will be able to drive up to your cottage for loading and unloading, this is a very short walk from the car park (approx 50m).
