Description
Chalet Chamoissiere is a large, traditional 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom chalet, newly refurbished to a luxury standard within 5 minutes flat walk of the Grand Massif Express lift or 1 minutes walk from the ski bus stop. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac with a private garden and private Jacuzzi just four minutes walk to the heart of Samoens village centre, Chalet Chamoissiere offers the perfect location for a holiday all year round.
Sleeping 13 people comfortably this luxuriously furnished chalet feels like a home from home.
The ground floor has a large, open plan living, dining and kitchen area with an abundance of space for family meals and get togethers. The main living area is comfortably arranged with 2 large sofas and two leather arm chairs and provides an ideal place to relax and unwind in front of the log fire. You can keep in touch with the world via WiFi Internet and English Freeview or French television channels together with an iPod docking station. The kitchen is perfect for preparing large meals, with 2 ovens, a large ceramic hob, microwave, integrated large fridge-freezer, breakfast bar and plenty of storage space... even Gordon Ramsay would enjoy cooking here!
From the kitchen there is a stair well taking you to the lower ground floor where you will find a utility room as well as a snug and games room with two leather sofas, one of which is a sofa bed, TV and Wii which prove to be extremely popular with children. This area of the chalet is also equipped with a dart board and table tennis table.
At the foot of the stairs to the 1st floor there is a heated boot and drying room with plenty of storage for those damp clothes, a utility snug with washing machine and a separate WC. Up the stairs on the 1st floor, there are 4 bedrooms (one en-suite) leading off the hallway as well as 2 family bathrooms. All bedrooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished with oak furniture.
The master bedroom has a queen sized bed (200cmx150cm), large wardrobe with hanging space, DVD player and an east facing balcony... superb for morning sunrises over Montagne de Criou. Directly next door to the master bedroom is a family bathroom, equipped with bath, shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 also has a queen sized bed (200cmx150cm), a DVD player and an en-suite shower room with large shower, sink and WC. Next door to bedroom 2 is another family bathroom equipped with bath, shower, sink and WC.
At the end of the hall you can find bedroom 3, a cosy room which sleeps 3 people in one single bed and one full-sized bunk bed. Directly next door is bedroom 4 which is almost identical to the master bedroom, it has a queen sized bed (200cmx150cm) and beautiful oak furniture as well as an East facing balcony.
Off the hallway leads another staircase to the 2nd floor and the fifth bedroom. Bedroom 5 a cozy but light and airy attic bedroom which sleeps 4 people in separate single beds. This bedroom has its own private bathroom next door which is equipped with a bath, sink and WC.
The chalet comes with private off street parking for up to 4 cars (2 covered places), a large garden which surrounds the chalet, a private Jacuzzi and a ski locker.

Location description
The chalet is situated in a quiet spot, just 1 minute walk to the historic centre of Samoens. In winter the frequent ski bus stop is 50 metres from the chalet or the main lift is a 5 minute flat walk. Samoens is the only ski resort classified by the registry of historic monuments, hence the beautiful village and surrounding area is protected and hasn’t been spoilt by mass tourism. Samoens ski area is part of the Grand Massif which is one the largest ski areas in Europe, joining with Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt, comprising of over 260 km of piste. In addition, the chalet and Samoens are just 1 hour’s drive from Geneva airport and is one of the closest ski resorts from Calais.The summers are amazing here and the scenery is as breathtaking. It is a perfect resort for an individual or family activity holiday, with waterfalls, mountain lakes, rafting, hiking, biking, adventure parks all walking distance.

Directions from Geneva Airport
• When leaving the car park, follow the green signs for France, going straight for a couple of kilometers.
• Still following for France, take a left hand turn from the main road, still heading for France.
• At the traffic lights at the top, turn quick right before you go over the bridge.
• Still following for France and also Chamonix, you will soon come to the French/Swiss boarder into France.
• Following directions for Chamonix, and you will soon be on the motorway A40. The exit for Samoens is Junction 18 and the town is Cluses.
Directions from the motorway, A40
• Leaving the A40 at Junction 18, where Samoens is clearly signposted. Follow the signs for Samoens through Cluses.
• Continue following the signs for Samoens, up through Chatillon, and down through the other side.
• About 2km after Chatillon, the road splits, turn right here for Samoens (signposted).
• Follow for Samoens until you come to Morillon and continue through the centre of the village.
• Continue straight for about 4 km (do not turn off for Samoens 1600). The road bends and you will cross a river after and come to a small roundabout.
• Go straight across this roundabout and continue for about 500m to the end of this road, and you will come to another roundabout where you should turn right.
• Continue for another 200m and you will come to another roundabout, go straight across, and take the 3rd turning on the left situated next to a chalet/apartment building (if you reach the Fromagerie you have gone too far).
• Continue to the end of the road, Chalet Chamoissiere is the last chalet on the right with green shutters.
