    Description

    Apartment Biollet is a luxury 2 bedroom apartment sleeping 4/6 people in a prestigious development in Samoens. The apartment situated in an enviable south facing position just a 12 minute walk into the historic village of Samoens with its numerous shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

    The apartment offers spectacular views in a very peaceful location, ideal for holidays during the summer and winter time. In winter the free ski bus stops 8 minutes away. Alternatively the main telecabine, the Grand Massif Express is 2 minutes by car with plenty of free parking.

    The apartment was constructed in 2009, built and furnished to an exellent standard throughout by local artisans. It benefits from an impressive fire place, a large south facing terrace and private gardens to the side. Cleverly arranged on one floor the apartment comprises 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds pushed together. The contemporary bathroom contains a double size shower, washing machine, sink and wc.

    The lounge, kitchen and dining area is very light and spacious with breathtaking panoramic views of the valley and ski area beyond. The kitchen is superbly equipped with dishwasher, 4 ring ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, oven and microwave. The lounge are has a leather sofa which can also be converted into a sofa bed and further seating, flat screen TV, (with UK freeview channels), DVD player and DVD's, WiFi, perfect for those cosy nights in. The dining area has a large table with comfortable chairs opening out onto the terrace, furnished with a further table and balcony furniture. There is also a BBQ, plenty of wood for the fire, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board provided.

    The apartment has a private lockable underground garage, with boot warmers, as well as a ski locker.

    July 2011 saw the installation of a private Jacuzzi for both winter and summer use.

    Location description

    The chalet is situated in a quiet spot, just 12 minute walk to the historic centre of Samoens. In winter the frequent ski bus stop stops just 8 minutes walk away. Samoens is the only ski resort classified by the registry of historic monuments, hence the beautiful village and surrounding area is protected and hasnt been spoilt by mass tourism. Samoens ski area is part of the Grand Massif which is one the largest ski areas in Europe, joining with Flaine, Morillon, Les Carroz and Sixt, comprising of over 260 km of piste. In addition, the chalet and Samoens are just 1 hours drive from Geneva airport and is one of the closest ski resorts from Calais.The summers are amazing here and the scenery is as breathtaking. It is a perfect resort for an individual or family activity holiday, with waterfalls, mountain lakes, rafting, hiking, biking, adventure parks all walking distance.

    When leaving the car park, follow the green signs for France, going straight for a couple of kilometers.
    Still following for France, take a left hand turn from the main road, still heading for France.
    At the traffic lights at the top, turn quick right before you go over the bridge.
    Still following for France and also Chamonix, after about 10 minutes come to the French/Swiss boarder into France.
    Following directions for Chamonix, and you will soon be on the motorway A40.
    The exit for Samoens is Junction 18 after about 20 minutes and the town is Cluses.

    Leaving the A40 at Junction 18, where Samoens is clearly signposted. Follow the signs for Samoens through Cluses.
    Continue following the signs for Samoens, up through Chatillon, and down through the other side.
    About 2km after Chatillon, the road splits, turn right here for Samoens (signposted).
    Follow for Samoens until you come to Morillon where you take a left hand turn again signposted for Samoens. Continue on this road for about 1km then you come to a T junction where you turn left for Samoens.
    Continue again for about 500m past a lake on your right until you come to a round about, where you turn right.
    Follow this road for about 4km, until you come into the village of Samoens. Pass under the Bienvenue sign take your first left.
    Follow the road round to the left and the road starts to rise up over a little bridge after about 100m.
    Continue for about 1km and the road goes round to the right and you pass underneath several large new chalets which is the development for this property. The entrance is a little further up the hill on the left hand side. Go in and to the car parking area on the left. Chalet Ambregales is the first Chalet on the right. Apartment Biollet is the central chalet on the right. Chalet Chanta Polet is the last chalet on the right.
