Description
This unique 19th Century Stone Village House was completely restored in 2006 to provide comfortable, well appointed and gracious accommodation in the peaceful and tranquil setting of Khirokitia. Three bedrooms (1 king size, 1 double & 1 twin ) with high quality en suite shower rooms will sleep 6-8 comfortably. Cot and High chair available on request. All the rooms are spacious, air conditioned and centrally heated.
The 'Palati' is a two storey high elegant sitting room with beams a vaulted ceiling and fireplace. The kitchen is fully fitted with washing and dishwasher facilities, full oven and hob. The dining room seats 8-10. The terrace runs the length of the house and overlooks the swimming pool which is set in a fragrant garden of jasmin frangipane stephanotis and locquat. An ancient Almond tree blossoms in the Spring and the almonds can be picked throughout the summer months. High Quality poolside furniture makes for comfortable reclining for reading or star gazing.
The House of Achilles was built by the same family of farmers that still owns and runs it. It is place of peace and tranquility with a unique atmosphere where it is possible to forget the rush of modern life but within 25 minutes to be in the hustle and bustle of Nicosia Liimassol or Larnaca towns or at Larnaca Airport waiting for an international flight.

Location description
Khirokitia village overlooks a magnificent vista of Orange lemon and Olive groves. A 15th Century Byzantine Church Our Lady of the fields marks the area that the Lusignians fought the Mameluks for supremacy in Cyprus in 1426. The Neolithic Ruins at Khirokitia are a World Heritage Site and the site is excavated every year since 1952 by the French Archaelogical Society.

All major airlines fly directly to Cyprus from major British towns and airports: carriers include Cyprus Airways, British Airways, Monarch & Ryanair. The Port of Limassol has a magnificent harbour for international cruise ships and Larnaca has a beautiful Marina for leisure cruisers. The Quaint Fishing Port of Zygi is a 15 minute drive from Khirokitia.It is a gorgeous small harbour which has been transformed in the past 2 years by a tasteful new development of the harbour. It has fish tavernas of character that serve fresh fish in a lovely seaside settlement.
