Argantel is on the historic site of the St Agnes village foundry, which dates back almost 200 years. Today, echoes of the past remain in a few stone ruins glimpsed through the covering of protected woodland that provides an idyllic haven for wildlife.
In this delightful setting are 3 cottages; Chy Treza, Chy Kenza and Chy Nessa. Each cottage sleeps 5 and has its own self-contained garden or terrace where you can relax to the soothing sounds of the valley stream filtering through the trees, underscored by bird song during the day and the distant hooting of owls at night.
The cottages have all been recently refurbished and newly-furnished throughout. They are full-equipped with TV, DVD and CD/radio/cassette; kitchens fitted with full-size cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher; and a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Tariff is inclusive of heating, electricity, bed linen (plus tea towels and bath mat), basic supplies - tea, coffee, sugar (wherever possible all are organic and/or fair trade and bought locally), Cornish milk and biscuits, olive oil, salt, pepper, eco-friendly cleaning products and toilet paper - and a welcoming bottle of wine.
