Our family run Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet location, in the heart of Ambleside.
The villages restaurants,cafes and pubs are a minutes walk away.
Our rooms are clean, modern and stylish. We serve a full English or vegetarian breakfast, together with choice of fruit juices and yoghurts.
Ambleside is an ideal starting point for both serious walking and gentle strolls. There is never a 'best' time to visit the Lake District, as each season has its own special magic with spectacular scenery which you will treasure in your memory forever."

Directions


If arriving from the South, take Junction 36 off the M6 motorway. Follow signs for Windermere and then Ambleside. From the North, take Junction 40 off the M6 motorway. Follow signs for Keswick. As you pass Threlkeld, look for signs very soon after for Thirlmere and Grasmere. Turn left on to the B5322 (St. Johns in the Vale). After Grasmere, follow the signs to Ambleside.
If arriving by train, the main West Coast Line station is Oxenhome-The Lake District, from where you change for Windermere. You can catch a bus (555, 599) to King Street, Ambleside or a taxi.
