Every summer all over the province of Vorarlberg music events under the name of 'Bregenz Lake Festival' (Bregenzer Festspiele) take place. Main attraction is the opera on an open stage in Lake Constance. This years spectacle will be Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi. Starting in 1948 this spectacle is today seen by more than 250 000 visitors from all over the world and besides the opera there are all kinds of other events like theater, chamber music and even jazz.
