Lucca Comics & Games is the most important Italian exhibition dedicated to comics, animation, games (role-table, card games) and fantasy and imagination fantascientifico. It takes place every year between late October and early November in Lucca in an area of about 30,000 square meters, of which about 15,000 exhibition. Participating is all major stakeholders, and an increasing number of specialty stores, comics stores and recreational and cultural associations.
During the days of the exhibition the market is teeming with events of role play live concerts, screenings, meetings with authors, presentations and performances devoted to this adventurous universe made of clouds and games. Both in Lucca Lucca Comics and Games can be found exhibitions and exhibition routes of major artists or titles at the festival. Some of these exhibitions are held in the evocative setting of the Renaissance city.
