Description
Palm Trees is an imposing hillside villa set in its own grounds on the gated Anchor Estate on Jamaica’s South Coast. It is about 200 feet above sea level and 400 yards from the coast. The views are amazing and there is normally a relaxing breeze. All the rooms have high ‘cathedral ceilings’ and fans. The pool is very private as it is within the villa. Guests’ have loved Palm Trees and many have said they will return. Guests’ accommodation is the entire upper deck of the villa, over 6000 sq ft, including bedrooms, patios and pool area. The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen has a 50" TV and a radio/CD/player. The dining table is a six seater. The kitchen is separated from the dining area by a bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four burner stove and a microwave oven, coffee maker, kettle and toaster and two fridges with ice boxes. Off the dining area is a covered patio with another six seated table. There are three bedrooms the master bedroom has a queen size bed a lounge area and an en-suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms both have double beds and a shared en-suite bathroom. All the rooms have direct access to the pool and patio areas. On the patio around the pool are several tables, chairs and benches.The lower deck of the villa is the owner’s residence and they are normally on site. Any problems they will be there to sort things out. Bernard and Daisy or their helper will ensure the patio areas and pool are kept clean.

Location description
Whitehouse is a small fishing town on the South west coast of Jamaica on the borders of Westmoreland and St Elizabeth. The area is largely untouched by mega-resort development. There is plenty of fresh produce at roadside fruit stands. Fresh-caught fish especially in Whitehouse. There is a friendly community atmosphere about the area. Floyd’s Pelican Bar, called the "coolest bar in the Caribbean" is well worth a visit as is Jake’s Place and Jack Spratt’s in Treasure Beach. Lovers Leap, YS Falls, Bamboo Avenue and the Appleton Estate rum tour should not be missed and seeing the crocodiles on the Black River Safari is a great experience.
Directions
From Montego Bay Airport
On leaving the airport take the A1 towards Lucea and Negril. After about 4 miles at Reading turn left onto the B8. Keep on the B8 through Anchovy, Montpelier, Haddo and Whithorn until you reach Ferris Cross on the South Coast. At Ferris Cross turn left onto the A2 and head southwest towards Whitehouse passing through Cave, Mearnsville, Bluefields, Belmont and Auchindown. On the right you will see the entrance to Sandals, Whitehouse. You have only just over a mile to go. Look out for the anchor at the entrance to the Anchor Estate.Turn left into the estate and then after about 100 yards take the fist left, after about 200 yards keep to the left where where the road curves to the right and Palm Trees is the last property on the right.
