For centuries called "Island of the Gods" and "Heaven on Earth" this island paradise of warm, friendly people and rich culture has been an inspiration to famous artists and musicians and enjoys a renowned reputation for its superb craftsmanship.
You will be relaxing in an environment unique in the world, far from the noise and tourist crowds while located close to major scenic attractions.
A stay at Villa Sunrise includes a fresh, delicious breakfast prepared by your house maid, who also cleans and does your laundry.
Footsteps from Villa Sunrise is a modern European health spa with a restaurant, swimming pool, massages and yoga classes.
Villa Sunrise has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Only the second floor bedroom is air-conditioned since the Villa is built in an open plan style with all the doors and windows opening out to the balconied and expansive views of the gardens and North Bali Sea.
The second floor bedroom has a double and a queen sized bed. The media room has a sectional sofa.
The third floor bedroom has a queen sized and a single bed and a meditation area. All of the beds have mosquito netting. The Villa is well stocked with bed linen, and bath and beach towels.
There is a TV/DVD player, an Ipod player and a CD boom box, along with a selection of Cd's and Dvd's. We do not have TV reception or Internet Service. Emergency emails can be sent through Gaia-Oasis, but the service is very slow and frustrating!
Occupancy is limited to the number of people stated on the booking form. Smoking and pets are not permitted in the Villa, although you may see the occasional dog or chickens stroll through the garden.
We provide daily maid and laundry services along with a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, home-made bread and beverages including our wonderful Balinese coffee.
Lunch & Dinner is served daily at the Gaia-Oasis restaurant at very reasonable prices. The offer a selection of fresh juices, smoothies and bee, soda and ice cream throughout the day. You can eat there either a la carte off the menu, or from the delicious buffet that they provide to their guests. You are also welcome to use the kitchen at at the Villa to prepare your own meals.

The swimming pool at Gaia-Oasis is available for your use at no charge if you eat at least one meal per day at their restaurant. A small charge if you do not.
Gaia-Oasis also has Yoga classes twice a day and a full Spa services both at the beach and in the mountain. You can also rent snorkeling equipment from their office.
Our Villa manager, Rai (who works at the Gaia-Oasis office) speaks excellent English and can help you with any of your questions or concerns.

Location description
Bali, a tropical island in the Indonesian archipelago, is so picturesque and immaculate it could almost be a painted backdrop. It has rice paddies tripping down hillsides like giant steps, volcanoes soaring up through the clouds, dense tropical jungle, long sandy beaches, warm blue water, crashing surf and friendly people who don't just have a culture but actually live it. In Bali spirits come out to play in the moonlight, every night is a festival and even a funeral is an opportunity to have a good time.
Bali Island, the perfect holiday destination for all ages offers something for everyone. This tropical paradise has a unique blend of modern tourist facilities combined with wonderful shopping and a rich past and heritage. The Balinese people are proud of having preserved their unique Hindu culture against the advance of Islam, the dominant religion throughout Indonesia. This is still reflected in day to day life and can be seen in the numerous ceremonies, Balinese festivals and magnificent temples and palaces. Some of the best surfing beaches in the world can be found on the western side of the island whilst conversely the eastern side is a wonderful haven for families, with beautiful white sand beaches and gentle seas.

Directions
Instruction to find Villa Sunrise:
Take the road to Ubud and Payangan. When you get close to Ubud, dont turn into Ubud; instead keep going in the direction of Payangan. (If you are already in Ubud then leave town heading towards Payangan.) Follow the road to Payangan and keep going straight through the town of Payangan until you reach the end of this road. This will bring you all the way to the Mount Batur Crater rim near Kintamani. There turn left towards Singaraja. The road winds through the mountains. After about 15 minutes of driving, start looking at the names of the small villages you are passing through, until you come to the village of Lateng. At Lateng the road branches; the left fork goes down towards Singaraja, whereas the smaller right fork goes up towards Madenan and Gaia-Oasis (look for the Gaia-Oasis sign and/or the sign towards Madenan & Bondalem). Take this right fork, into a smaller road which immediately branches into two. Follow the left branch and keep going all the way up and around the mountain, a beautiful drive.
After some time, you will see milestones marking the distance to Tejakula (TKL). After you pass the milestone marked TKL 5 (5 km to Tejakula town centre).
If you are coming to Villa Sunrise, continue down the mountain. You will reach a T-junction at the end of the road. Here turn right into the main coast road and drive for another 2.6km to Villa Sunrise. You will be heading southeast into the town of Tejakula. On the right (mountain) side of the road you will pass the Tejakula Post Office, then the big temple, the Tejakula Wartel and then a Soccer Field. Immediately after the soccer field you will cross a bridge and exactly 0,5 kilometer after the bridge you will see on the left side of the road tall Gaia-Oasis yellow and white flags on bamboo poles and on the right side a sign saying Gaia-Oasis directly in front of the toko (shop) Aditya.
Here turn into the small driveway and about 50 meters down you will see the parking area to your right. Park your car here and then follow the small path/gang by foot until you come to our Pantai Beach Resort at the ocean. If we know the approximate time of your arrival we will have some of the Oasis staff meet you at the parking area and help carry any luggage (or the staff will pick it up after you arrived at the office).

Deposit/Booking Notes
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation, with the balance due 30 days before your arrival date.
Once we reach that 30-day point, the rental fee is non-refundable, unless we are able to re-book the property for the dates reserved.
If we re-book the property, we will refund a prorated share of the rental fee, less a $25 cancellation fee.
The above rates are for a maximum of four persons. There will be an additional charge of $25 per person (per night) for each additional guest.
