Description
A charming detached two-bedroom villa with private swimming pool set in grounds of a of an acre, in rolling green countryside near the south coast of the beautiful island of Menorca.
The villa, which is attractively furnished throughout, sleeps four or five people and is only 20 minutes drive from the airport and capital, Mahon. The nearby resort of San Jaime, with the island's longest beach - Son Bou, is just a 5 minute drive away, and there is an excellent old farmhouse restaurant a few minutes' walk away. For those seeking a peaceful and private villa holiday without being too remote, Villa Lagartija offers the perfect location.
A second neighbouring villa of similar size is also available with a Saturday changeover.

Master bedroom with king-size double bed, wall-safe, ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes.
Twin bedroom with two single beds, ceiling fan and full-length fitted wardrobes.
Both bedrooms have independent air conditioning.
Modern tiled bathroom with full size bath/shower, toilet and vanity unit.
Large comfortable lounge and dining room with high beamed ceiling and French doors.
Satellite TV (UK channels), DVD/video, CD and cassette players and FM radio.
Selection of books and board games - Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, Chess, Backgammon etc.
Modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, espresso coffee machine, electric oven/grill and gas hob, toaster, steam iron and ironing board, cool box for the beach, etc.
Cot, high-chair and extra bed available.
Exterior:
Full-width arched covered terrace and patio with barbecue, sunloungers, patio furniture and umbrellas, for sunbathing and al fresco dining. Garden floodlights and patio lighting.
Stairs from the garden lead to a rooftop sun terrace with sunloungers, patio furniture and panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and down to the sea.
Swimming pool, 11x5 metres (36x16 feet) with underwater floodlights, tiled steps at the shallow end, ladder at the deep end, and a poolside shower.
South-facing well maintained garden with large lawn, palm trees and flowerbeds; screened with perimeter hedging for privacy (although there are only three other villas nearby).
General Information:
WiFi internet access with unlimited downloads for exclusive use of clients.
As the villa is outside the main resort, a hire car is a necessity. We have our own hire car available for most dates.
In the resort of Son Bou / San Jaime there are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, a giant waterslide, beach bars and pedalos for hire on the beach.
A weekly linen change is provided on Fridays, which is also the changeover day for lets.
There are direct flights to Menorca from most UK airports. Morning flights are preferable, as the changeover time at the villa is 10:00 outgoing/14:00 incoming.
