Stunning south-facing villa, with private pool and super sea views. within a short walking distance of the beach, shops & restaurants in the old fishing village of Salema.
The property is a large private self-contained annex, with its own entrance, swimming pool and off-street parking. The pool (approx. 8m x 4m) benefits from all day / early evening sun and is typically warmer than average; the terrace is fully equipped with outside furniture & BBQ for al-fresco dining and loungers for sunbathing. The terrace /patio is fully enclosed and secure for small children.
Arranged over 2 floors, the villa is spacious, sunny and tastefully furnished. The first floor is open plan with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area with sliding doors (with insect screen) leading directly to the patio and pool. It benefits from air conditioning that also doubles as a heater in the cooler months of the year.
Stairs lead up to the two lovely furnished bedrooms (with ceiling fans) both with en-suite shower rooms. Both rooms have balconies and enjoy panoramic sea views.
Bedroom & Bathroom
Two bedrooms, both with shower enclosures and water closets. The villa sleeps up to 4 people with a twin bedroom and another room that can have either 1 or 2 single beds. Both rooms have insect screens. Downstairs also features a cloakroom.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with modern units and granite work surfaces, a 4-ring ceramic hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster and extensive utensils for cooking.
Dining & Living Room
The good sized lounge / diner has comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, Wi-Fi, Smart TV with internet and basic satellite TV channels, iPod dock with headphone jack aux input, and DVD player.
Location
The location is excellent for beach lovers, walkers and golfers and, for days out, is close to a number of other small villages & popular areas such as Sagres and Luz and for shopping & markets, Lagos. The walk into Salema village / beach takes around 6-7 minutes and due to the incline, about 10 minutes on the way back. We do not recommend to families with children under the age of 8 years old

South View Annexe in Salema was all we hoped for and more. Quiet and relaxing with fabulous views from both bedrooms, the villa was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean throughout. The owner, Amanda, has a great eye for detail. She is on hand in the adjoining house if needed, but is never intrusive.
The villa is in a residential area, just a five minute walk into the village with its beautiful beach and abundance of fabulous restaurants. Two mini-markets mean you do not have to venture out of Salema if you have no plans to explore the Algarve.
Valgarve provide an excellent service. Val answers all enquiries with speed, efficiency and a lovely sense of humour, giving a real personal touch to your holiday booking. She arranged both villa and hire car bookings, leaving us nothing further to do other than book our flights and enjoy ourselves on arrival! We were so impressed we are booking again for next year.
