    Description

    House by the pool, beach and golf is in Playa Flamenca in the Orihuela Costa, south Costa Blanca, Spain. Approximately 45 minutes drive south of Alicante Airport and 40 minutes drive from the new Murcia airport at Corvera. Sleeps 6-8 people.

    The house is registered with Ministry of Tourism for the Alicante region, registration number VT-442999-A.

    The fully air conditioned quad house is on a small residential community with two communal swimming pools. The terraces overlook one pool in a gated garden. It has 3 bedrooms, a shower room, a bathroom, lounge-diner and an american kitchen.

    The location means that you are not dependant upon having a hire car as there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The local beaches are under a mile away and you can do your daily shopping at the excellent supermarket on your way back to your holiday villa. On Saturdays there is a very large street market. La Zenia Boulevard shopping complex, boasting 150 shops, bars and restaurants plus play area and bowling alley, is under 15 minutes walk from the house.

    Wifi is included in the rental. All utilities also included. Cotton bed sheets are provided. Towels for use in the house are supplied, beach towels are available to hire or you can bring your own towels for use at the pool and beach.

    Outside terraces: The house has terraces on two sides and overlooks the pool and garden. Large round table, chairs and sun shade are provided for 'al fresco' dining. Also bistro table and chairs, recliner chairs, coffee tables and barbecue.

    Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, hob, oven, grill, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. All cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery are provided.

    Lounge/diner: The dining area has a large dining table that seats 6 and a dresser containing books, DVD's, PS2 games and tourist information. There is also a supply of games in the storage pouffe.

    The lounge area has a three seater and a four seater sofa, large leather pouffe, coffee tables, radio and CD player, reading lamp, satellite TV with DVD player and PS2 games consol. A selection of DVD's, PS2 games and CD's are provided for your convenience. Ceiling fans and hot/cold air conditioning. Two wall heaters for winter guests.

    Downstair shower room: Shower, wash basin and toilet.

    Downstair twin bedroom: Large built in wardrobe, two single beds, two bedside cabinets, headboards, bedside lamps. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning.

    Marble stairs to first floor.

    Master bedroom: Large room with a King size bed, headboard, two bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, large chest of drawers, mirrors and built in wardrobe. Option for single bed or cot to be added. Double doors open onto the balcony with sofa and a coffee table, overlooking the pool and garden. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning plus wall heater.

    Large twin bedroom: Large room with two single beds, bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, headboards, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe. Ceiling fan and hot/cold air conditioning. Option to set up with three single beds.

    Upstairs bathroom: Bath with shower over, vanity wash basin, toilet and bidet.

    Washing machine, ironing board and iron are in the cupboard on landing.

    Marble stairs to:

    Solarium: Large roof terrace with outside lounge and coffee table, chairs, sun shade, sun loungers, table and chairs and clothes line. Views to the pool and garden and also of the sea.

    POOLS: There are two pools for your use, both in gated gardens. The first is next to the house and clearly visible from all outdoor spaces and from most windows of the house. The second is not visible but very close by and has more terrace.

    Location description

    The house is on a quiet residential community but close to everything needed. Supermarket, shops, the huge Zenia Boulevard shopping and leisure centre, market, restaurants and bars, plus great blue flag beaches.

    Other activities

    Within walking distance: Shopping centre, bowling, casino, children's play centres, parks, beach activities, weekly market, go karts, road train in summer to all the beaches, open air concerts in summer. Plus a short drive to water parks, zoo, historic city, golf courses, countryside. Some beaches also have water sports.

    Local events

    Events all summer long. All main fiestas are celebrated including Kings, St George's day, St Patrick's Day, local saints days, Santa Sementa and Christmas parades.

    Tourist attractions

    Beaches, road train, churches, museums, water sports, free entertainment at the Boulevard, salt works tours, golf, water parks, zoo, go karts.

    Directions

    Playa Flamenca is on the N332 coastal road, just south of Torrevieja. the house is approx 1km from the N332. Full and appropriate directions are supplied before arrival. Air port transfers can be arranged for those not hiring a car. Both Alicante airport and Murcia (Corvera) airport are around 40-45 minutes drive from the house. Both have regular flights from the UK all year round.

    All outside areas have a view of the pool. Main terrace has tables, chairs, bbq, sun shade, relaxing chairs and footstools, plants for homely feel. Balcony has sofa and coffee table. Solarium has outside lounge, sun loungers, sun shade and bistro table and chairs.
    Access: Car not essential, Off road parking, Stairs
    The beach is under a mile away. Huge shopping and leisure centre less than 15 minutes walk. Supermarket and selection of other shops, cafes, bars and restaurants are within 10 minutes walk. The local street market is very close by. All this, but a quiet location.
    There are 8 steps up from the driveway to the house and this is a 3 storey property, so is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

    The house was a pleasure to stay in, with large and spacious bedrooms, so plenty of space for our belongings. We did not have a car but everything was within walking distance and there was plenty to do. All round a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it to friends and family

    Deposit/Booking Notes

    To secure booking there is a deposit of 150 payable. Full rental is due 8 weeks prior to start of visit. The 150 is returned after the holiday once we have heard from the keyholder that all is in order. End of stay cleaning and laundry fee payable direct to keyholder is 80 for up to 6 people and 90 for 7-8 people.
    Payment can be made by bank transfer or cheque. We can also take payment in Euros by bank transfer.
