At a distance of just 15kms from Heraklion, the capital of Crete, also the north beaches and the E4 walking path, Pendamodi is an ideal location for excursions to every corner of the island, even though few of the guests usually decide to leave the hospitality and warmth of Christina and of the village. Christina Villa has an architecture inspired from the local traditional aesthetics. The private pool adds to the characteristics of the discreet luxury and decorates the nights of the veranda. 1 0.0 Exit the car park turning right at the bottom to join the main road. Turn right again at the X roads (opposite the left luggage office). The sign post says Agios Nikolaos 61, Iraklion 4. Stay in the right hand land.
2 0.5 Take the right turn that is signed towards ‘Iraklion 4’. This is a slip road that will lead you on to the National Highway travelling west. The sea should be on your right hand side.
3 3.8 Continue on the highway. You will be driving under a yellow painted bridge.
4 7.3 Follow the signs to Mires and take the second slip road off the highway.
5 7.6 Turn right at the bottom of the slip road. The Bank of Cyprus is opposite the junction. Please take care here it is a very busy road. Continue on the main road.
6 9.6 Turn right at the traffic lights signposted Hospital 3 Asites 20 Agios Mironas 14. You will notice Makro on your left.
7 10.6 Turn right for Voutes 7. The sign says Pyrgo 14, Prinias 29, Ag Mironas 13.
8 16.9 You should now be in Voutes. The road is very bad here. Drive through the village keeping to the left past the petrol station.
9 20.4 Turn right Pentamodi 1, Kroussonas 12, The sharpe left Kitharida 8, Sarchos 9. Taking care here that nothing is coming down the hill.
10 21.2 You have arrived in Pentamodi turn right at the fountain (spring water tap), past the church.
11 21.4 Villas Christina are on your left. Park on the road in front of the stone archway. The car park is accessed from the rear. Reception staff will give you details.
