Our guests particularly enjoy the easy walks to the various local beaches and also like to take part of the more demanding 'Way of the Lighthouses or Camino dos Faros' gorgeous trek along this dramatic coastline. Galicia is a land of water and in its fifty rivers, rafting, kayaking and canyoning opportunities abound for the more adventurous. For instance in Razo beach surf (surf courses available) is another popular family activity among our guests while horseback riding in Baldaio estuary makes another great day out, both locations within easy reach from this property. For an easy day in, just procure the catch of the day in any of the local markets or just from the neighbour - make sure you do not forget the albarino wine, as gastronomy is indeed another attraction in this region. Change the pace with a visit to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Santiago de Compostela or mingle with locals in any of the many summer festivities for a taste of Galician culture. And of course, simply winding down on the beach is always an option!

    The closest airport in Portugal is Porto at 300km. This has the added bonus of visiting Portugal on the way to the villa.
