    Description

    2-bed Villa/Townhouse situated on the corner of the popular Vilabranca resort in a quiet residential area of Lagos. Spacious villa-style townhouse (approx 1200 sq ft/110 sqm) with 2 en-suite bathrooms + downstairs toilet, front and back gardens (with BBQ) with parking directly in front of property. Located 15 mins walk to Lagos towncentre, 15 mins walk to the beautiful cove beaches south of Lagos or to the quieter beach of Porto de Mos. Within the complex are 2 swimming pools and a restaurant/cafe bar.

    This is a privately owned villa but all the facilities within the Vilabranca complex are available for your use. Vilabranca comprises of 120+ units, 20 of which are privately owned villas, like No. 20.

    Swimming pools
    There are 2 pools for use with the property,- the main one, which you
    can see from the terrace and bedroom balcony, and another quieter pool. To reach the main pool turn right out of the villa and walk right around the corner and you will see the entrance to the pool on your right (the bar and restaurant area is associated with this pool). The second pool (without a childrens pool or bar/restaurant) is quieter and is better suited for swimming lengths. To reach this pool you have to continue walking an extra 50 or so metres past the main pool, and into the adjacent quadrant/sector of Vilabranca.

    Wi-fi/TV and General
    Wi-fi internet access within the villa is provided free of charge and the password and login details are provided at the Villa in a document placed on the coffee table.
    The house is fully equipped with many household items for your use during your stay, including TV, DVDs, Washing machine, Dishwasher and all necessary equipment for cooking/preparing food and cutlery and utensils for serving and eating.
    Yes there is even a hairdryer! (I have rented the villa for a number of years so have ensured that most people's needs are catered for).

    Location description

    Coast/Beach:
    Located 10-15 minutes walk from the beautiful cove beaches south of Lagos or 10-15 minutes walk to the quieter beach of Porto de Mos.

    Directions

    We highly recommend that you hire a car when visiting the Algarve. It provides the best means to explore the Algarves coastal villages or seek out the remotest of beaches to relax on. There is a local car hire company based in Lagos called Luzcar (www.luzcar.com, a good choice if you wish to minimise the waiting time at collection or drop off) but currently the best priced deals seem to be available from www.enjoycarhire.com/en

    Driving Directions
    Lagos is approximately 82 km west along the A22 from Faro Airport and the journey takes about 45 minutes. The A22 is a toll road and the toll from Faro to Lagos is about 7 euros. The alternative is to stay on the N125 all the way to Lagos but this will add an extra 20-45 minutes onto your journey.

    Alternatives Taxis and buses
    Taxis from the airport are approximately 80 each way. A pre-booked van transfer to Lagos will be cheaper. Buses run from Faro's centre to Lagos, 7 times a day weekdays, twice a day Sundays and Holidays. Journey takes 2 hrs 20 mins. Trains operate more frequently and takes 1hr 50 mins.
