Description
The villa was originally designed as a family home, with large spacious rooms and built on a generous 800sqm plot, fully air-conditioned with high ceilings and double glazing. We purchased it in 2011 as our 'place in paradise'.
All rooms can access the pool and terraced areas directly. The ground floor comprises large entrance hall and three of the en-suite bedrooms (2 King sized doubles and a twin), with stairs up to the lounge. On the 1st floor is the main living area comprising of a large fully kitted galley style kitchen opening onto the large open plan lounge/dining area with patio doors leading out onto a large shaded terrace with an additional dining area, there is also a W/C.
Internal and external stairs lead up to the second floor comprising the 4th bedroom with en-suite wet room and large private roof terrace. Telephone (local calls) a Turkish PAYG mobile phone are also available to guests, highspeed (50Mbps) internet connection with Wifi is provided. Dining seating for 8 persons in the lounge, 8 persons on the lounge terrace and 6 persons by the pool, 8 sun loungers around the pool , additional tables chairs and loungers are on the various terraces (each bedroom has its own terrace with table and seating, the roof terrace having its own more private sunbed.
The TV system allows visitors to watch UK TV (including Sky sports,Movies and BT Sports) on the new flat screen TV .
Basement games room has table football, air hockey as well as some keep fit equip (weights and bench), and has its own shower room with WC.
For young children we have 2 cots, 2 pushchairs a high-chair and all stairs have doors or gates fitted. For early and late season we provide a range of child 3/4 wetsuits (in case to pool is too cool).
We continue to invest and improve the villa based on customer feedback (in the last 2 years we have refurbished all 4 ensuites replaced the 8 sunbeds renewed all the Air- Con units and had a custom built BBQ made).

Location description
Kalkan is located on the Gulf of Antalya, an inlet of the Mediterranean on the south-west coast of Turkey. This area is famous for the beautiful coastline and beaches, warm seas and historical sites. There has been a successful local campaign to “keep Kalkan special” and although it has certainly grown since our initial stay in 1992 it retains much of the original ambience. This is a sophisticated resort and prices are often reported as a little higher than elsewhere in Turkey although still reasonable by UK standards however if you search you can find places to suit all budgets. Standards of food and service are particularly high and the multitude of restaurants generally offer excellent value for money. Those of you who have visited Turkey before will have experienced the warmth and friendliness of Turkish people and we have found the people of Kalkan to be particularly hospitable. Kalkan is generally quiet and sleepy in the heat of the day but comes to life in the evening when temperatures are more comfortable for strolling the narrow streets. There are many small bars and cafés in which to enjoy a quiet drink before or after dinner and an abundance of small shops to explore.

Beautiful sandy beaches at Kaputas and Patara.

Walks and treks (close to the Lycian Way)
Saklikent Gorge (walking, tubing and canoeing)
Villages of Berzigan and Islamlar.
Kalkan Weekly market. (Thursday)

Daily boat trips from Kalkan Harbour.
