Location description
Kalami Beach is a mere 2km away and is a sight to behold as the luscious green hillsides meet the fine shingle beach with its mesmerising deep blue and green coloured sea..
The beach also has some fabulous restaurants and bars, as well as a supermarket where you can stock up on supplies. Kalami was actually home to the famous Durrel family for a while in the 1930s with their old 'White House' near the beach now a restaurant/guest house.
Koloura Cove, which is a traditional fishing port and has some colourful painted buildings, is also nearby. Sit and gaze as the fishing boats make their way in and out of the bay, and enjoy some amazing local food at the incredible fish taverna.
There are also a number of other great beaches nearby, as well as the cracking village of Kassiopi, which is the nearest to Villa Genna and has a rich history as well as a beautiful port. Again, Kassiopi has a plethora of amazing restaurants, is popular with tourists and also has great nightlife in summer.

We have had a wonderful week in Villa Genna!
We have had a wonderful week in Corfu. This is our first time here but not the last !! We drove around the island but what we did found out was that Kalami is the most beautiful place, best food and nicest people! Villa Genna was perfect with the pool, gardens and the barbeque area. The weather was nice and hot! Thank you for our stay in Villa Genna, we would love to come back to your beautiful home !
