    Description

    The location of Casa De Verano (Summer House) is situated between the coastal resorts of Javea and Denia both only 10 minutes away in the car. Both resorts offer numerous activities and extensive sandy beaches.

    Casa De Verano, is a very beautiful modern villa decorated to a very high standard with good quality furniture, designed for both comfort and practicality, in a style that is suitable for all year round holidays.

    Upon arriving at the villa the first thing you will notice is the incredible south facing open views. To the left you have the ever present Montgo mountain watching over Javea and the surrounding villages, then Gata de Gorgos a very typical small Spanish town with local bars and restaurants. Then the countryside in all its natural beauty with views from the valley below to the distant mountains. There is a shaded decking area over looking the pool where you can sit and read a book or watch the children in the pool while relaxing in comfort. This is a really lovely area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down. the pool is lit so midnight swims are a must. Towards the back of the house for those that have difficulty leaving the gym behind, you will be pleased to find a small gym area for over 18,s only. It is equipped with a cross trainer, exercise bike, abbs bench and a weighted home gym. There is an outback barbecue as well as outside dining area for 8 people this is overlooking the pool and beautiful view.

    The garden has been planted with palms, fruit trees and flowers, the front area of the garden has been dug out to reveal the naked bed rock which is lit at night and casts beautiful reflections of both rocks and flowers. The outside of the villa, pool, decking area and eating area are all lit at night.

    Inside the villa you are greeted by a grand double height bright open hallway. To the left of the front door is the fourth bedroom. This is a very comfortable well furnished bunk bed room with views to the side elevation looking out onto the countryside and the Montgo mountain. Fully furnished and with an upright fan.

    The sitting room which is light and bright looks out on to the front elevation and also to Montgo from the side elevation. The room is furnished with mango wood furniture, leather sofa and chairs as well as 2 traditional antique wooden and rush seated chairs. Another 1 of these chairs are placed in the bunk bed room and another in the dinning room so that all size of parties can be accommodated comfortably. For winter sun but chilly nights you will be pleased to find a log burner to keep you toasty even on the coldest of nights, it has been backed with a tosca stone feature wall. This room is fitted with an air conditioning unit to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. It has sliding patio doors leading to the dining room.

    The dining room, traditionally a Naya has open aspects to the front and right side of the villa. Both the front and side doors open fully to allow ease of access, the outside barbecue area and dining area for alfresco eating are located this side of the villa. You will find a supply of adult and children's books and games. There is a ceiling fan should you require it. The dining table extends to allow seating for 8.

    The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious with everything a cook could need, in a perfectly orderly and sensible location. the windows look out onto the dining room and outside kitchen area, following into the utility room. equipped with more storage space, washing machine and daily cleaning utensils.The downstairs wc is fully tiled and spotlessly clean.

    The second floor up 8 steps has two bedrooms and the family bathroom. bedroom 2 is a double with a window looking onto the front garden area which has been planted with fruit trees and flower borders. It has a double height padded headboard for extra luxury and is decorated unusually for Spanish villas with a featured wallpaper wall. This fully furnished room has air con.

    The twin room is bright and airy and is duel aspect, a window to the side elevation overlooking a gravel and rock garden which is lit up at night and also to the front another garden area. The room was decorated to feel open, fresh and airy it has two single beds a dressing table, chair, shelves and a mirror so nights out can be prepared for properly. This bedroom has air conditioning.

    The Family bathroom has a bath and an overhead shower the WC has its own door so the facilities can be used by more than one person at a time.

    To the third floor again up 8 steps is the Master bedroom suite, as you enter you are in the dressing area with two double built in wardrobes and the door into the master bathroom which is being refurbished with a master bath, separate double shower as well as a double sink, it is both light bright spacious and beautiful. The master Bedroom is unique and elegant with a modern twist on a half tester over the super king size bed. The dressing table is a beautiful black glass with a baroque style mirror. One of the loveliest things in this room is that you can lie in bed and look at the view outside the patio windows and across the terrace to the mountains beyond. The terrace is perfect for long lazy breakfasts or to just while away a few hours and sit and admire the view. This bedroom has an air conditioning unit.

    Location description

    The Villa itself is located at the edge of an urbanisation, as such you have unobstructed views of the local countryside valley and mountains below. The Villa is private however you have beautiful open views. You can see the Spanish town of Gata de Gorgos to the left of the villa and about 1.5 kilometres away. There are many local small family restaurants and shops. Gata De Gorgos is well know for its basket weaving and has lots of little old shops full of interesting and beautiful items ideal as souvenirs and keep sakes.

    We are 10 minuets or so from Javea and Denia both towns are perfect for exploring and both are very different in feel. Denia has a more traditional Spanish feel extensive wide and not so busy beaches as well as shopping outings water sports etc. Javea is a very cosmopolitan tourist town with 3 distinct areas. The Arenal which is the main tourist beach perfect for families and children but does get busy in high season it is also where most of the night life occurs. The port area has some of the nicest restaurants available perfect for sitting and watching the world go by. The old town with its narrow streets and wonderful little tapas bars and Thursday market is always worth a visit but all ways best early in the day or after 5.00. 40 minuets down the motorway is the popular resort of Benidorm which always looks very surreal with its sunshine sea and skyscrapers. Here you will find the water parks theme parks Mundo mar, Benidorm Palace etc etc.

    Directions

    Follow the AP7 from either Valencia or Alicante Airport to the Gata De Gorgos turn off exit Junction 62. Leave the toll booth and turn right, it is signposted Alicante and N332, drive for 5 minuets. Pass the Mas Y Mas supermarket on the left hand side. You will turn right at the next turn about 100 yards up the road signposted Pedreguer , follow the road around a right hand bend then under the motor way and turn next left, just on a right hand bend. A hundred yards up the road you pass a Monroes restaurant, continue up the hill around a sharp left hand bend stay on the road all the way to the top, the view will open up before you there is a sign on the left, that says Gata Residenical. Drive passed a row of olive trees on the right hand side. Continue driving pass a stone walled roundabout, there is scrub land on the right hand side, continue driving until the scrub land turns to houses, immediately turn left and continue down this road until you can go no further we are the very last house on the right hand side.

For stays over 10 nights then a free linen change service will be provide half way through your stay. Towels for your stay are provided however if you require pool towels then they are charged at 2 euros per towel per stay this is to cover the extra laundry charges. MY 15 year old Daughter wishes to offer her services as a babysitter I will accompany her, if you wish for baby sitting services please ask about rates.
