    Description

    Situated in the Urbanization Buena Vista, cut into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, this exclusive well appointed villa offers accommodation in a tranquil setting, yet only a few minutes drive from the fantastic beaches and nightlife of Fuengirola and Marbella. It overlooks the Mediterranean (it is 400m above sea level) and the beautiful nearby town of Mijas, which is renowned as being one of the most beautiful white villages of Spain.

    There are three bedrooms which can sleep up to eight people (2 full size folding beds available), two bathrooms (one en-suite), an American kitchen with utility room and a large lounge which offers panoramic views of the breathtaking scenery overlooking the Mediterranean Sea towards Gibraltar. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of Africa! It has telephone, WiFi internet access, air conditioning, English and Spanish TV, and a DVD player. Externally there is a patio Andaluz opening onto a broad terrace with a large floodlit pool (8x4m) set in private gardens featuring a BBQ, outside dining area, large roof terrace (all with fabulous views) and car port. The property benefits from the exclusivity given by the security gates at the entrance to the development complex and is flanked by other villas.

    Mijas is 5 mins by car, Fuengirola and the beach are 10 mins by car and Marbella 20 mins. The nearest international airport is Malaga (10 miles). We also have a car to rent at very good rates, a VW Touran 5-7 seater automatic with aircon. We have a local manager who is available to provide any information required. Linen is changed every week. The pool and garden are very well maintained. The nearest shop is a mini supermarket at the petrol station just down the road (open until midnight) and there is a supermarket just along the road to Benalmadena called Carrefour with larger supermarkets in nearby Fuengirola.

    Directions

    When leaving the airport, follow the signs to the motorway A7/E15/N340 towards Algeciras (NOT Malaga). After about 10 minutes, take the exit numbered 1008 to Benalmadena/Mijas (A368), then turn right towards Mijas. You pass a garage on your left as you continue up the mountain road. After a few tight bends and one roundabout, Urbanisation Buena Vista is on your right hand side. Come through the security gates and take the second exit off the roundabout, keeping the mountain to your left.
