    Description

    Casa Ventura's modern, split level accommodation comprises a large living room / dining area, superbly equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, bathroom and separate WC on the first floor. The lower floor, reached by steps at the side of the villa, has an additional twin bedded room with en suite bathroom.

    The property is our second home which we rent to discerning guests so the experience will be different to normal self catering rentals.You shouldn't need to buy condiments, olive oils or herbs and spices. There should also be tea, coffee and sugar. We just ask our guests to replace an item if it runs out during their stay.

    There is a large, efficient fridge freezer together with a washing machine in the kitchen. We ask that you leave the settings on the fridge alone as they are ideal as they are.

    The living room TV, Blue Ray Disc Player and Soundbar take advantage of the property's excellent wi-fi which will allow you to use the streaming apps available. An unobtrusive satellite box makes UK TV channels and free to air satellite channels available for viewing. There are also plenty of books and DVDs.

    The porch area has outside dining with a gas BBQ.

    The pool is 8m x 4m x 2m with Roman steps for easy entry. There is also an outside shower by the pool. The pool area is surrounded by a screen which gives you privacy along with the trees and hedges, and youngsters cannot escape out onto the road without you knowing.

    There is one small bar and bar/restaurant within 5 minutes walk but you will need a car to reach the nearby supermarkets (take your pick from Lidl, Aldi, Masymas or Mercadona).

    The changeover dates are flexible and the villa is ideal for families wanting a quiet relaxing sun filled holiday but with easy access to local towns, beaches, shops and restaurants.

    The properties in the immediate vicinity are privately owned and not rented out so you shouldn't experience late night comings and goings.

    Location description

    Monte Pego is a prestigious development of privately owned villas, near to both blue flag beaches and spectacular mountains and valleys full of orange, lemon and almond groves. This is traditional Spain, perfect for those who enjoy relaxing or sight seeing and visiting the weekly local village markets and also the nearby antique and flea markets.

    Monte Pego is located in an area recognised by the World Health Organisation as one of the most ideal areas for local climate and quality of life.

    Tourist attractions

    Casa Ventura is within reasonable travelling distance to attractions such as a large fun park, and a water park near Benidorm, Oceanografic the largest aquarium in Europe in Valencia and good golf courses such as Javea, Oliva Nova and LaSella. There are hiking trails in the mountainous Montgo Natural Park with its wonderful vistas overlooking Denia and the northern Costa Blanca. Or visit the inland villages along the Orba and Jalon valleys in the mountains.

    Directions

    Use websites like Skyscanner and Jetcost to find competitive flights and definitely use Carjet for the cheapest reputable car rental in Spain. A CAR IS ESSENTIAL.

    Take the A7 motorway direction Alicante if you're coming from Valencia Airport or direction Valencia if you're coming from Alicante Airport.

    Exit at junction 62 sign-posted to Ondara/Denia. Continue in the direction of Valencia, on ring road signposted Ondara (N-332).

    Exit ring road sign posted Pego (CV-700). Proceed in the direction of Pego until you reach a crossroads taking a left turn signposted El Rafol d’Almunia (CV-728). Follow this road until you reach a small flat plateau at the top taking a left turn into Calle las Rosas (opposite a closed access to an unbuilt new urbanisation).

    Take the second right into Calle las Violetas and Casa Ventura will be right in front of you as you crest the hill.
