Description
Bob and Alba Lucia have spent 4 years renovating their property in the small hamlet of Los Ventorros near the mountain top village of Comares on the edge of the Montes de Malaga National Park - one hour from Malaga. The property is spacious and constructed on 3 levels with large outside terraces offering both sunny and shaded aspects and it has it´s own pool. The views across open countryside from both the front and rear terraces are beautiful. Most attractive are the traditional Andalucian features, including beams, heavy wooden doors and window shutters.
The log fireplace is a cosy feature in winter. In our garden and terraces you will find plants and flowers, the oldest vine in the village, ramblers and hanging baskets.
Furnished in rustic style with modern comforts, the villa will appeal to anyone wishing to enjoy a traditional Spanish house in a convenient village countryside location. The welcoming bar and restaurant and village shop are just a few metres walk and there is ample free parking right outside the villa.
Comares hilltop village, with views to the Mediterranean coast in the distance, has attractive narrow streets and good facilities and plenty of activities like The longest Zip Lines (Tirolinas) in Spain (430 metres) plus 3 NEW aerial walkways with different levels of difficulty. Rock climbing. Guided Tours of Comares and surrounding areas on donkeys. Five fabulous signposted walking routes of various lengths and difficulty. Mountain Bike' tracks in the countryside around Comares. Guided tours around the historic village of Comares and local sites of great historical and archaeological interest. Spanish or English language lessons. Travel: Excursions to Morocco. Long weekends.
