This former 18th Century Coach House and Art Gallery has been sympathetically restored to provide all the modern amenities need for an enjoyable holiday. Only a short walk from the centre of the picturesque fishing port of Whitby, this beautiful house has been carefully restored and designed to be family friendly.
Sleeping 1-4 people it has its own good sized patio for entertaining and there is ample on street parking. Taldomas is the perfect place to come and unwind. Downstairs has a very spacious open plan living room with a sofa, chairs, tv with freeview, cd player, dvd player and reading area. The kitchen/ diner is well equipped with many appliances such as fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave and washing machine.
Leading onto the first floor via a large open staircase it unexpectedly gives you glorious views of Whitby Abbey and two spacious bedrooms. A master bedroom has a large 6ft wide bed and the 2nd bedroom has twin beds. The luxury bathroom has a large shower cubicle and a corner bath with a shower handset.
Situated in the heart of Whitby's West Cliff, Taldomas is at the Back of St Hildas Terrace just off the A174 main Whitby to Sandsend road. Just around the corner is the Indoor Swimming Pool and Leisure Centre, Art Gallery, Museum and beautifully restored Pannett Park (www.pannettpark.co.uk) which will keep the children fully entertained.
Attractively furnished and co-ordinated throughout it provides a lovely home from which to explore not only Whitby but the surrounding smaller fishing villages and North Yorks Moors. The town centre, bus and train station are only a short 5 minute stroll away and locally there are many shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets.
