    Description

    A village house in a small country village near to Saintes and about 30 minutes by car to several sandy beaches.

    The house is ideal for a small family and sleeps 4 / 6 plus a baby, or could suit a couple who like the extra space that the house offers.

    The house is entered from the courtyard through double doors into the kitchen/dining room. There is a large table and 6 chairs. A feature is the beautiful, old wood-burning stove useful for those off season visits.

    Leading from this room there is a comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove and electric radiator. It has 2 large sofas a matching armchair, coffee table and book shelves.There is a mini hi-fi system, and numerous books and games and toys.

    There is a second living room which benefits from the afternoon and evening sunshine. This room has a sofa bed and a daybed. It has an electric radiator.

    Also on the ground floor is a shower room with a shower, a basin, heated towel rail and a WC. The washing machine is in this room.

    Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a double room with a large double bed and a table and 2 chairs. 2 single rooms each with a single bed..

    Finally there is another shower room with a large shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and a WC.

    The house has wifi.

    Outside there is a courtyard and a small garden with a patio and a shady pergola and this garden leads into a much larger garden.

    There are ample garden chairs and sunbeds.
