Description
Sea Gem is fully equipped with everything which you would need for a restful break, including TV, DVD player, Netflix and Wifi. A new boiler was installed recently, so the house will be cosy for winter breaks.
There are three comfortable bedrooms, one with a king size bed, one with two twin beds and a third single room. All linen and towels are provided.
Downstairs, there is a tastefully decorated lounge with two recently purchased sofas to relax upon. This room also has the feature of a window seat with a comfortable cushion where you can while away the hours as you gaze at the sea view down the road. The master bedroom also has a window seat with the same view, so you'll be spoilt for choice!
The spacious kitchen/diner is well equipped with an electric hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave , toaster and cafetiere as well as a good selection of pans and general kitchen utensils. It has a large table and chairs for meals as well as a breakfast bar complete with two bar stools. . Tea towels and a kitchen welcome pack are provided which includes a dish cloth and pan scourer, as well as a couple of dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets.
In addition, there is an outside utility room which includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a rotary washing line with basket and pegs for your use.
Patio doors look on to the securely enclosed garden area.
Free on street parking is available in the road.

Location description
Sea Gem is a dog friendly holiday home in the traditional fishing village of Newlyn, which is around a mile from Penzance. Newlyn is a fantastic location for a holiday, being within a stone's throw of St Ives, Lands End, St Michael's Mount and the Lizard. Also only 2 minutes walk from The Newlyn School of Art for anyone who may be attending one of their courses.
A wonderful place to spend a holiday at any time of the year with fantastic sea views of Penzance from our cosy window seats.

Janes house is absolutely fantastic; beautiful interior (we loved all the different fabrics chosen) and has everything you could want. The beds were so comfortable; we all slept better than we do at home! Location was great too; stunning views from the property and only a short walk to a super choice of restaurants, pubs, shops etc. We loved staying and will definitely be returning. Thanks

We were very comfortable in Jane's little gem of a house. Coming back windswept and wet from days out to nearby Land's End, St Ives, our favourite Porthcurno or other lovely places, it was like coming back to your own warm, dry and comfortable home. The fishing village of Newlyn is full of character with it's narrow, steep streets (you certainly get fit walking up from the harbour) and has lovely looking restaurants and pubs - we tried the Red Lion and a very family friendly (and delicious!) Italian/tapas place called The Bridge. Fish and Chips are also amazing and, like all the fish in the area, freshly caught from Newlyn.
