    The townhouse is located in a residential area described as the 'Universal Area' within Kato Paphos. It benefits from being on a small but well established complex built by Pafilia Ltd in 2004, and fully maintained by Blue Orange. It is very well located for walking to the sea front of Kato Paphos, and also the old historic town of Paphos on the hill. It is convenient for access to local cafes and corner shops. A bit beyond is Bar Street for evening entertainment and eating, the harbour area, where there are many restaurants, and where bookings can be arranged for boat and overland excursions, also water skiing. Whilst nearby one can explore on foot the extensive archaeological park of Kato Paphos, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

    The property is light and airy, being an end of terrace property with additional side windows. It also benefits a relatively private setting, with a mature Hibiscus boundary hedge and well planted rear garden with terrace and seating area. The main bedroom looks onto the quadrangle and benefits from a balcony with views of the complex's large pool and communal gardens. The rear patio is an attractive area to enjoy outdoor eating with table and chairs, in addition to that provided in the dining area. Whilst the well planted and now mature communal gardens provide a lovely feature set around the large communal pool, and this benefits from a separate shower and toilet facility building. There is a good sized sunbathing area around the pool.

    For those who hire a car, there is plenty of off-road parking on the complex.

    Location description

    Iris Cottage is located on Agios Thomas Street, within the Universal residential area, that forms part of Kato Paphos. It is near enough to all the major amenities to make walking a pleasure, yet far enough away for peace and quiet for a good night's sleep. The property is 15 minutes walk from Bar Street and a selection of restaurants. A further 10 minutes walk will take you to the harbour area where there are many restaurants, museums, and boat and inland excursions can be booked. Whilst walking in the opposite direction, and taking about 30 minutes, is the historic old town located on the hill, and which has its streetscape refurbished in 2018 under the European Union's 'Sustainable Urban Development Programme.

    Directions

    -Taxis can be pre-booked for collection from Paphos airport, when making the holiday rental booking, via the Property Manager. Payments are to be made directly to the taxi driver. Return bookings to the airport to be arranged with the taxi driver on arrival. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes.
    -Car hire should be arranged directly, and cars can be hired from Paphos airport. Its recommended to arrange the car hire before travel to Cyprus and ensure all insurance and licence requirements are resolved.
    -Travellers hiring car from the airport will be provided with basic instructions on the route to take from Paphos airport to the house.
