Maharač country house
The country house Maharač apartment Matajur in Kamno, 110 m2, with three bedrooms. It is a quiet location and the apartment is comfortable for a longer stay. The house has several terraces and a large (1000m2), child friendly garden with enough privacy. You can park on the area.
Kamno lies between Kobarid (5 km) and Tolmin (7 km) near the border of Italy and is a perfect starting point for different activities. On only 300 meters from Maharač are several beaches at the Soča-river.
Kamno is located at the border from the Triglav National Park, one of the largest Natural Parks in Europe. During the whole year a lot of activities are possible; walking, hiking, fly-fishing, almost all outdoor sports, kayaking, rafting, parasailing, skiing, (off road) motor cycling, mountain biking and swimming in the rivers Soča, Nadiža or Idrijca. The ski area Kanin and Crni Vrgh/Cerkno lays on 24 and 40 km. In Kamno is also a basketball field and a football field.
In the surroundings areas are several excellent restaurants, cafe's, supermarkets and well known museums. For the one's who like it there is in Kobarid a new Casino, Aurora, and Nova Gorica (40 km) is classed as the casino town of Slovenia.
The cities Cividale and Udine are just over the border with Italy (30-50 km from Kamno. Venice (170 km) is easy to reach by car and train.

Other activities
The Soča-valley is also called "Adrenaline Valley", famous for almost all existing outdoor sports. Did you know that several times world, European and country championships for Kayaking and Paragliding where held here in the Soča-valley? This area is also known for the enormous caving (speleology) possibilities. When you are not really experienced don't start these activities alone!

Next to (outdoor) sports, swimming and sunbathing at the rivers, flyfishing, skiing, visiting towns also the remains and musea from the Battle from Kobarid during WW1 are very interesting. And the kitchens from the restaurants in Kobarid are very knows for their superb quality..
