    Description

    Dilston Holiday House is a Self Catering Holiday Cottage in the village of Goathland nestled in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

    This accommodation is available in the village centre also known as Aidensfield in YTV's Heartbeat, the Aidensfield Arms and Scripps' Garage are to be found close by. Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, York & North Yorkshire Moors Railway all within easy reach of the Holiday Cottage. Goathland Station is where Steam Trains can be boarded & you pass through some of Yorkshires finest Moorland landscapes.

    Sheep roam freely through this rural countryside village. It has attracted many visitors over the years returning again and again. This self-catering holiday house is available throughout the year for weekly holiday lets from Saturday to Saturday. A short walk away from the house is the village store and Post Office.

    This spacious and well equipped holiday house is able to accommodate six people. Well behaved pets are welcome (maximum of two) at the discretion of the house owner.

    In the well equipped kitchen you will find an electric cooker, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster and sandwich toaster. The kitchen is fitted with a small breakfast bar there is also a large dining room.

    A comfortably furnished lounge boasts an open coal burning fire and the added bonus of sky digital TV, video and DVD player. On the first floor there is a large double bedded room and two smaller twin rooms, all bedrooms have their own washbasins, the bathroom has a bathtub and separate shower there is also a separate toilet room. All bed linen and towels are provided without charge.

    At the rear of the house is a large garden and plenty of open space there are two smaller gardens to the front and side of the house.

    The house has oil central heating and hot water, parking for up to two cars. Electricity is charged by the reading of the meter at the beginning and end of your stay.
