Description
La Posada, cottage between Terra Alta and El Matarranya
Posada de Caseres is located at c / Major, 10 of Caseres, receives this name because it was formerly the home that hosted the people who were traveling or were on their way, where they could sleep, rest and eat.
La Posada was built in 1928, the house has been restored, adapting it to modern comforts, retaining all the structure and original charm. It emphasizes its façade, since it conserves the original decorative samples that were made to its day, also you can observe that it has the longest balcony of all the street.
Since 2008 the Posada is a homologated rural house for Tourism (PTE-000274) offering a cozy and exclusive stay for all its clients.
The cottage consists of three floors:
• The ground floor: there is a large entrance with the stairs leading to the first floor. Behind the stairs there is a barn that was used when there were horses, there is a space that is where the stables were formerly and now we use to store dry wood, it also serves our customers to store bicycles or other articles that carry for your vacations. At the bottom is the coolest part of the house, it is the winery, where we keep our oldest wine in oak barrels.
• The first floor consists of a dining room; the living room with sofas and a wood stove; The kitchen is fully equipped, a double room and a full bathroom with bathtub.
• The second floor stands out due to the slope of the roof, consists of the connected triple room: divided into a double bedroom suite and a room with a single bed (plus an extra), a full bathroom with shower, a bedroom cleaning: equipped with the washing machine, the iron and an outside terrace.
The cottage can accommodate up to 5 people, but it can also be rented for 4 or 2 people, depending on the needs of our clients
We have a cot and an extra bed.
