    Description

    Labat Grange is an old stone barn which was fully renovated in 2005. The renovation was carefully completed to ensure that original features such as oak beams, traditionally tiled floors and beautiful white stone walls were preserved whilst at the same time creating an extremely comfortable and family friendly place for a holiday.

    The kitchen is fully equipped but most of our guests prefer to use the gas barbecue which is available on the terrace.

    The property sleeps 8/10 people, (adults or older children and 2 babies) in comfort. All four bedrooms are en-suite, a big bonus according to our previous guests. The property is set in 5 acres of beautiful countryside which guests are free to explore. The house does have its own completely private gardens with covered and the pool is for the exclusive use of our guests.

    Location description

    The property sits in a quiet valley, it's very peaceful but close to amenities. The road through the valley is a cul de sac so there is very little traffic. It's forbidden to hunt in the valley so there is a lot of wildlife, in fact this summer our guests have often seen deer in the adjoining field in the middle of the day. There are also red squirrels, rabbits, all sorts of birds and the odd wild boar. The house is set in 5 acres of very unspoilt countryside which guests are free to explore.

    The nearest village is Pont du Casse which has a full range of shops plus a restaurant and bar. 5km further east is Agen, the main town of the department of Lot et Garonne. Agen is a small but interesting town with plenty of lovely restaurants, markets and summer activities including free weekly concerts.
