Description
The Homestead is located at the top of Catskill Animal Sanctuary's 80-acre property, where it has stood since 1813. The old farm house features original wide-plank floors, exposed brick walls, and gorgeous fireplaces, and has been recently restored for your comfort.
Three guest rooms and a suite are available. The three guest rooms are named after beloved animal residents and share a common bath. The Rambo Room has a king bed, the Paulie Room has a queen bed, and the Dino Room has a twin bed. The Samson Suite features a kitchenette with refrigerator and stove, a spacious living room, a small queen bedroom, and a private bathroom. (Twin-sized air mattresses are available to accommodate additional guests in the Rambo room or Samson suite.)
Homestead guests receive a complimentary vegan breakfast, a VIP pass to spend time with over 200 rescued farm animals at CAS, and, if you're with us on a tour date, a complimentary tour of the Sanctuary.

Location description

Getting to CAS from NYC -
Take The Bus: From Port Authority take NY Trailways to the Kingston, NY stop, then take a cab to Catskill Animal Sanctuary – it’s about a ten minute cab ride.
Take The Train: From Penn Station take Amtrak to the Rhineclifff, NY station, then take a cab to Catskill Animal Sanctuary – it’s about a 20 minute cab ride.
Driving Directions -
From the South:
Take the New York Thruway (87) to Exit 19 (Kingston).
Go through the toll, then take an immediate right onto 28 West/209/Rhinecliff Bridge.
Go 1/4 mile and exit onto 209 North (toward Rhinecliff Bridge).
Take the 9W North Exit toward Saugerties.
Once off the exit ramp, proceed 1.4 miles to Old Stage Road. Turn right.
At the fork, bear left.
Go 1.3 miles to 316 Old Stage Road, sign and mailbox are on left, driveway is on right. Farm is not visible from road – continue following driveway to the bottom of the hill.
