Welcome to GIBBS GLADE COTTAGE & GARDEN STUDIOS, Barbados a mix of four holiday rental units set in their own lush tropical garden with a sparkling pool and oversize deck. A great spot, moments from both peaceful Gibbs and vibrant Mullins beaches on the platinum West Coast of Barbados.
The Cottage (sleeps three), Pool Studio (sleeps two), Palm Studio (sleeps two) and The Cabin (sleeps one/two) can each be reserved separately or in any combination to provide ultimate flexibility from one single holidaymaker, up to a family of nine. The choice is yours...
True to the spirit of a traditional winter holiday, we are a seasonal business, so when the winter snow is on the ground and the cold winds make you shiver, our Inn doors are open to you. Everything good happens and everything magical happens between the months of November and April.
THE COTTAGE's double bedroom together with a single room allows for a couple, family or party of three to enjoy plenty of space.
The pretty two bedroom (sleeps three), one bathroom, one storey COTTAGE, faces east to catch the refreshing trade winds. These, together with the high vaulted ceilings throughout, provide a feeling of space keeping the property wonderfully cool.
The open plan layout of THE COTTAGE is ideal for a holiday. The finishes throughout include pickled pine, coral rendering and tile floors which give a real beach house feel and epitomizes inside outside living. It is well furnished with wooden furniture throughout and includes wifi.
THE COTTAGE's one double and one single bedroom, both have air conditioning. The bedrooms both lead into an open plan reception room which has ceiling fans.
There is a breakfast bar into the kitchen, which is simply equipped and includes a washing machine. The reception room and the kitchen both open onto a large veranda that runs the length of the cottage, offering plenty of room for sitting and dining, overlooking the large sparkling ceramic tiled pool.
POOL STUDIO and PALM STUDIO are each perfect for a couple or party of two.
POOL STUDIO (sleeps two) has twin double beds; whereas PALM STUDIO, (sleeps two) has a 5' kingsize double bed and also a single bed. Both have a comfortable sofa and coffee table, dining for two, simple kitchenette and en-suite shower room. Whilst the kitchenettes won't allow you to cook a Sunday Roast they are perfect for throwing together a light bite.
AC, Wi-fi, cool tiled floors throughout all accommodations.
French windows can be thrown open to experience inside or outside living, or both....
THE CABIN was designed with the single traveler in mind. Having said... it also works a treat for cosy couples but please know that it is compact. If you are just looking for a clean space to haul up in after the beaches, pool, bars and restaurants then you have hit the jackpot.
A powerful AC, a walk in shower, high vaulted ceilings and french doors leading onto an east facing veranda to capitalise on the cooling trade winds.
With more than a nod to those who travel light or backpack, we have nailed it for the trendy but budget, niche holiday maker.
GIBBS GLADE COTTAGE & GARDEN STUDIOS is set in its own beautiful garden with a shimmering pool, fully enclosed with a wall and fence to make it very secure. The landscaping has been planned to provide a tropical feel and includes mango, sour-sop, coconut, citrus and banana trees......so help yourself before the monkeys do!
We are a great choice for like minded people seeking a Barbados holiday at a sensible price but at the same time not wanting to compromise on good living conditions. Oodles of Caribbean style, easy living charm, simple, inexpensive and fun. Location description

Take the coast road heading north on the west coast. The Cottage is about half way between Holetown and Speightstown, a short stroll from the beach.
Take a taxi or hire a car from the airport - there are plenty and they are very well organised. The journey takes about 40 minutes.

All bookings are to be confirmed with a 20% deposit.
Full balance for Christmas and New Year holiday period bookings payable 12 weeks prior to arrival.
Full balance for all other bookings payable 2 months prior to arrival.
Bookings may be cancelled if payment is not received within terms.
Departure time is 11am on the final day. However, if there are no new guests arriving on the same day, guests are welcome to depart at their convenience.
Cancellation Policy:
Deposit payments are non-refundable.
Christmas and New Year holiday period bookings cancelled less than 16 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable unless the accommodation can be re-let.
All other bookings cancelled less than 10 weeks prior to arrival are non-refundable unless the accommodation can be re-let.
Guest responsibility:
As no security deposit is required or requested, the guests are strictly liable for any damages, caused by themselves, their own guests, their invitees or agents to the property. In the event of any damages the guests shall be obligated to pay for any reasonable repairs or replacements.
Guest Release:
By making a booking the guests automatically confirm their agreement to release any claim for personal injuries or damages to themselves, their own guests, their invitees or agents which result from their presence on the property.
