Lovely Place
This is superb house, which has been lovingly decorated and equipped to a high standard
It's in a good location, just 2 mins to a walk down to the sea. Sidmouth is a nice seaside town, with good facilities.

Very comfortable cottage
Perfectly situated adjacent to The Byes, Chandlers Cottage is in the ideal location for visiting Sidmouth and East Devon. Pleasant walks from the cottage, good bus services and easy access to shops etc. The cottage itself is fully equipped, cosy and comfortable. We have no doubts that we will return in future.

Gorgeous
Chandlers is a beautifully converted little house, just a few steps away from The Byes, which makes a lovely walk down to the sea (about 1 mile). We've stayed here loads of times, and is definietly our go-to place for Sidmouth !

Home from home
Chandlers cottage is a lovely home from home , more than just an average holiday cottage. It is really comfortable, clean and everything you could possibly need . A traditional cottage with wooden floors and log burner , and nice modern touches like a free view tv . The bed linen was good quality and plenty of soft white towels.
Lovely garden with at least three different places to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine .
Would definitely recommend.

An excellent cottage. We love Sidmouth - location of cottage is great. Owners are very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have a good stay. Lovely welcome hamper. Lots of thought goes into this property. Highly recommend.

It was really difficult to find fault with anything. The supply of wood for the log burner was appreciated. Thankyou for a very relaxing stay. We've had a bit of a year and the cottage was just what we needed. Loved exploing the garden and finding the hidden areas to sit with a coffee and a book. The kitchen equipment supplied was probably the most comprehensive that we'd experienced. Also, a really good list in advance so we didn't need to bring anything 'just in case'. We especially appreciated the range of herbs and spices.

Excellent accommodation as usual. All the equipment that you want for cooking etc. A lovely garden to sit out in. The off street parking is a bonus as parking in Sidmouth is tricky. Jo's communication is excellent when asking questions.

An extract from the AA holiday accommodation inspector's review: "There is much to commend at Chandler’s Cottage, not least of which being the attention to detail and quality which pervades, no doubt much appreciated by guests. Reassuring to see such a thoughtful approach with a host of extras provided, ranging from an extensive reading library to fishing nets! The open-plan configuration is ideally suited for holiday letting." July 2018.
