    Great villa in beautiful surroundings!!

We, a family with children in the age of 14 and 17 years have enjoyed 17 days in this beautiful villa in Portugal.
The large beautifully decorated villa is beautifully situated between the fruit trees in a small village.
All you need is present in the villa.

The villa has a nice balcony with dining table and chairs. There are also two relaxing chairs. The view of the fruit orchards and forest is fantastic. Down stairs is a beautiful large swimming pool with Beach Chairs and a parasol. There is also a lovely shaded area with a table and adjustable chairs.

The quiet surrounding around the villa is lovely. And there is a lot to do and see at a short distance from the villa. A car is necessary. There are a lot of beautiful sandy beaches at a short distance from the villa. There are quiet beaches and also a little bit busier with plenty of water sports possibilities. There are also dolphin safaris which are very fun to do. Lisbon is an hour drive from the villa. We have been there and drove through the busy centre and parked the car in the centre in a parking garage. For us that was good to do, but if you don't have much experience driving in a big city where traffic left and right goes along you it is also possible to park the car just outside the centre and continue to travel by public transport.
Obidos is at 10 km distance from the villa and And we definitely recommend it to go there. The oldest part is completely surrounded by walls and has retained it’s authentic charm. You can eat a pizza at the Twelve Apostles, delicious.
Sintra is at one and a half hour drive from the villa, we visited Sintra on the only rainyday and that’s why we haven’t seen everything but what we have seen is wonderful. But touristy.

There are many great supermarkets with excellent products at 15 minutes drive from the villa. It is possible to buy bread at the bakery which sells the bread every morning by the villa, they will come around with a van and you can buy bread every morning except on Sundays. Inform the owner Ian how to arrange this.

The owner, Ian is very hospitable and will do everything for his guests. He will bes sure that everything is okay for the guests. He feels fine if the guests have it all to their liking. Ian ensures that the swimming pool is cleaned every three days and if it needed earlier a message on his phone is enough and he will come around whenever you want. Thanks to Ian we have been able to fully enjoy our holiday and we look back at a wonderful time in Portugal.

We recommend this villa to anyone who love rest and also wants to be in a region where a lot of viewing is on a well-riding distance. After a busy day coming home in the villa is really coming home.

    It was fantastic....!!!!

    great location

The villa is delightful and comfortable and in a location that makes it easy to visit places in the silver coast area. We really enjoyed our stay for 10 days. Ian (the villa owner) is a really nice genuine guy.

    Most excellent

I've been traveling to Portugal for the past 15 years. On this trip (4 months) my brother and I rented in portugal for the first time. What a pleasure it was to meet Ian and his family and the reassurance he gave us put our minds at rest and all his advice on our journey down was spot on!! As for the house and area, it is, just as describe!
A perfect slice of heaven, the tranquility is sublime. The only way you could find this tranquility if you went free camping into some remote forest. A very special time was had by all. Big thanks to Ian for all his effort
In sharing this very special place. 😊
