    " SIMPLY THE BEST "

We have just spent our second stay in the wonderful "Kath's Cottage. The cottage is quaint, warm and cosy, very well furnished with the guests every need and more catered for.
We arrived to a lovely and sincere welcome from Bev and John, waiting for us in the cottage were cheese scones, victoria sandwich cake and a loaf of bread all baked by Bev which were delicious. In the fridge Bev had left milk, butter, eggs, cheese and two bottles of water how good is that!
We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone believe me you would have a hard job to find anything better.
There are many National Trust properties and gardens very close by. Tonbridge Castle is well worth a visit, There are some good local shops very close to the cottage.
Bev and John thank you for everything, you are very special people who we are proud to call our friends.
If everyone was as kind as you what a better and happier world this would be.

    A small home from home

This wonderful little cottage is tucked away in a quiet spot at the bottom of the owners' garden. It is furnished comfortably and has everything you could possibly wish for a great holiday, the garden is a delight, being very bird friendly, it was lovely to relax over breakfast at the outdoor table and chairs and listen to the birdsong.
The location is close to many places of interest and lots of National Trust properties. Hadlow, the nearby village has an excellent Portuguese restaurant and an interesting café/antiques shop with very good coffee. Nearby Hadlow college has a beautiful garden, which is free, you can also buy their produce at the farm shop.
Beverley and John are very friendly and nothing is too much bother, on arrival you are greeted by a fridge stocked with the essentials [milk, butter, cheese and eggs] together with home made cake, scones, a loaf of crusty bread, marmalade coffe and tea.
We have stayed there for several years and have already booked for 2017, we cannot recommend it too highly
