Description
Normandy Gite Holidays is a recently converted stable near Gavray. An extensive renovation project has been undertaken to provide a contemporary and spacious holiday home. The original oak beams are exposed to maintain the character of the property. Likewise, the large stable doors have been replaced with glass to allow light to flood in to the double height entrance hall. To one side of the hall is a well equipped kitchen and dining room which seats 6 people comfortably. In the lounge there's a well stocked bookcase as well as English and French TV. A woodburning stove adds a focal point and is an extra source of heating if required. Also on the ground floor is a handy utility room with machine machine, cloakroom and the boiler which ensures the gite is available for letting whatever the season.
Upstairs are 3 generously sized bedrooms. The master bedroom is decorated in restful shades of cream, taupe and black. A king sized bed and plenty of storage ensure your comfort. An ensuite shower room completes the room. Two further bedrooms share a separate ensuite shower room. The blue bedroom and pink bedroom can both be configured as either a twin room or a superking sized room.
There is ample parking in the courtyard and a garden at the rear of the gite has a patio area, seating area and lawn.
Gavray is equidistant from the towns of Coutances, Granville and Villedieu-les-pôeles. For your everyday needs there is a supermarket, butchers, 3 bakers, 2 restaurants, 3 bars, post office, banks and the tourist office. Mont St Michel, the D-Day landing beaches and Bayeux are also within easy reach. The nearest beach is less than 20 minutes away but with an entire coastline to choose from, you won't be disappointed.
